Banning, Temecula, Murrieta, Jurupa

Plan-It Life, Inc. treatment facilities for youth is currently in search of, compassionate, energetic, team oriented, and self-motivated individuals to fill Youth Care Counselor positions:

Currently seeking at all facilities in Jurupa, Banning, Temecula and Murrieta.

NOC/Overnight - 10:00pm - 8:00am

PM Shift - 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 an hour depending on education and experience.

Position Qualifications:

  • Experience in a group home setting OR 12 college units in Child development/Psychology/Human Service related field, Or BA /BS degree in Human Service related field.
  • Must be in good physical and emotional health
  • Must have a valid California Driver's License and a good driving record
  • Meet title 22 Personnel requirements regarding fingerprint and Child Abuse Clearance
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Willing to meet CPI and 1st Aid /CPR training requirements within the first 30 days of employment Duties and Responsibilities: (We train)

Youth Care Counselors Responsibilities:

  • Client intake inventory of items; responsible for the protection, care and supervision of residents at all times
  • There will be a 3:1 resident to staff ratio at all times
  • Youth Care Counselors will provide transportation to and from school, Court, family visits, as well as specified appointments
  • Youth Care Counselors will be responsible for the implementation of treatment plans on a daily basis, prepare meals and assist with daily living skills of adolescents in a 24-hour treatment facility
  • Medication dispensing with training
  • Legal documentation (communication log, incident reports, daily program log)
  • Report all pertinent information during shift changes ensure the cleanliness and safety of the facility
  • Participate in staff training/ meetings
  • Prepare and serve meals
  • Initiate and supervise activities (community, study time, facility)
  • Ensure facility structure, policies and procedures
  • Make sure all vehicles are inspected after outings
  • perform other duties as requested in order to maintain the safety and well-being of the residents in the program
  • (Overnight Shift) Youth Care Counselors must remain awake and alert throughout the night and maintain required documentation
  • Room check every 15 minutes between 9p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
  • Check food nightly for proper storage, date expiration
  • Light Filing duties • Morning wake-up routine and meal preparation
  • Inventory, pack and label AWOL boxes, launder soiled towels and bedding and any other laundry as needed

Seeking tutors for basic High School/Middle School subjects (Math, English, History, Science, etc.) Previous Tutoring experience and some college preferred. Must be flexible and willing to work with at risk youth, who are motivated to learn but need a little encouragement, assistance and mentorship.

Currently Seeking at all facilities in Banning, Temecula, Murrieta, Jurupa

Minimum 10 - 20 hours per week

Pay: $15 - $20 per hour

Tutors Responsibilities:

  • Assist youth with homework
  • Review class assignments
  • Discuss the content
  • Assist with studying
  • Work with youth until they succeed in understanding the subject
  • Help youth prepare for exams

Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour

 

ADMINISTRATOR DUTIES

Salary $20 - $30 hour / Part Time

  • Assist the Director with Client files and Personnel files, ensuring that they are complete and correct.
  • Ensure that all group home policies and all other necessary forms are up to date with and in compliance with CCL guidelines.
  • Assess facility operation/program to stay in compliance with CCL and work with Director about problems that need to be fixed.
  • Do weekly facility visit/check-up at random times and talk to staff/clients. * Meet with LPA during licensing visits.
  • Facilitate staff orientation/training plans; ensure that all staff training is up to date.
  • Create monthly activity calendar/outings and food menus for clients.
  • Attend IEP meetings.
  • Meet with Social Worker / Therapist / Drug Counselor / Life Skills coach to review weekly case reports and overall client updates.
  • Screen and interview potential clients / staff.
  • Client Intake and communicate with Probation Officer/Social Worker regarding client progress.
  • Clients taking Psych medications: have JV220 filed in medication book.
  • Make sure Client medical insurance cards are ordered and received. * Assist the Director with complaints/grievances made by clients, staff, neighbors, etc. and help remediate these situations alongside Director.
  • Be on-call for emergency calls, provide guidance to staff according to CCL guidelines and group home protocol, and come out to facility in crisis situations.

Seeking Licensed Clinical Therapist

Compensation: $25 - $35 determined by experience

Position qualifications:

Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Psychosocial assessments
  • Provide group, individual, family therapy
  • Be self-motivated, creative and innovative
  • Appraisal & Needs (have social worker sign and meet with them)
  • Monthly Progress report (staff assignment and social worker)
  • Process group 1-2 x week
  • Contacts with County Social worker's monthly, CFT meetings
  • Consult with Administrators, Facility Managers, PhD & Psychiatrist
  • Individual sessions 2 x a week
  • Task Analysis/ Treatment Plan for specific identified problems
  • Talk with staff daily about behaviors, social skills and plans of actions, i.e. contracts, etc.

Group Home Facility Managers

Job Description: (We will train) The Facility Manager will be responsible for:

  • Planning and carrying out meals and menus
  • Shopping and taking inventory of supplies
  • Making necessary appointments for residents
  • Keeping track of any repairs necessary at the facility
  • Track school attendance of the residents
  • Follow-up and resolve all complaints
  • Shall act as a representative for the residents when dealing with complaints
  • Schedule necessary Youth Care Counselors per shift to be approved by the administrator.
