Position Qualifications:

· One (1) year experience in a group home setting OR twelve (12) college units in Child development/Psychology/Human Service related field, Or BA /BS degree in Human Service related field.

· Must be in good physical and emotional health

· Must have a valid California Driver’s License and a good driving record

· Meet title 22 Personnel requirements regarding fingerprint and Child Abuse Clearance

· Must be at least 21 years of age

· Willing to meet CPI and First Aid /CPR training requirements within the first 30 days of employment Duties and Responsibilities:(We train)

· Some Computer Skills is a must

· Full-time is 32+ hours

· Part-time positions 30 hours or less

· Must be willing to fill in during an emergency

Youth Care Counselors Responsibilities:

· Client intake inventory of items; responsible for the protection, care and supervision of residents at all times

· Youth Care Counselors will provide transportation to and from school, Court, family visits, as well as specified appointments

· Youth Care Counselors will be responsible for the implementation of treatment plans on a daily basis, prepare meals and assist with daily living skills of adolescents in a 24-hour treatment facility

· Medication assistance with training

· Legal documentation (communication log, incident reports, daily program log)

· Shift exchange

· Participate in staff training/ meetings

· Prepare and serve meals

· Initiate and supervise activities (community, study time, facility)

· Ensure facility structure, policies and procedures

· Make sure all vehicles are inspected after outings

· perform other duties as requested in order to maintain the safety and well-being of the residents in the program

· Work Collaboratively with an in-disciplinary team to ensure needs of clients are met

Seeking Facility Manager positions in a Short Term Residential Treatment Program for adolescent ages 12-17. Job Description: Facility Manager in a Residential Care setting will be responsible for:

· Planning and carrying out meals and menus

· Shopping and taking inventory of supplies

· Making necessary appointments for residents

· Keeping track of any repairs necessary at the facility

· Track school attendance of the residents

· Shall act as a representative for the residents when dealing with complaints

· Evaluate and supervise Youth Care Counselors Audit

· Care and supervision of at risk teens

· Provide for clients’ health, safety and welfare

· Enroll clients in school, track attendance & needs

· Maintain facility petty cash and budget

· Train Youth Care Counselors

· Work collaboratively with therapist, administrator, head of services and director
